ch-ch-ch...

skirt & shirt H&M, cardigan Only

The skirt with braces = the new jeans! For me anyway :---) I think this skirt is fun to match with different tops, and while having a proper shape it's long enough to be comfortable. (which is not always the combination that I find possible at 6am on a Monday.) It also fills in for my embarrassing lack of variation what comes to different types of occasion. (Don't think I own any clothes that were too dressy for school, for example...) On top of that it definitely encourages me to wear light-coloured tops - the high(-ish) waist and braces together give clearer outlines to both t-shirts and dress shirts. I regret not buying the full-skirt version H&M had in their summer collection not long after I bought this one; I thought it would be too similar to be worth it, but actually, now that the skirt is becoming my standard easy solution, I wouldn't mind the variety.

...Yeah, notice something different? I've been wondering if it would be easier to write in English as I don't have a million different registers. + I enjoy using the language & do dream about being even passably fluent... The previous chapter is actually only a translation, which I usually find hard btw, but it immediately felt less complicated than trying to choose a word in Finnish! sry mothertongue but it's not like I don't use you everywhere else. <3

Besides, I love the word "cardigan".

So this is an experiment at least, we shall see how fast I get tired with this one. Labels will continue to be in Finnish; it does bother me but oh well.

You are allowed - encouraged, actually - to correct me in anything.
