Old & New & Coming to accept high waists

On Saturday I had to pick up a concert ticket, so wearing my favourite last solution outfit: skirt by H&M and cardigan by Primark. Depressing hair cunningly placed under cap.

I also had a few hours for sweating in post-Christmas sales, all I bought was one normal-price item:
New skirt from H&M, with shirt by same. Pictures by Suvi. Yesterday.

Story of the Day: I used to be subconsciously afraid of high waists, probably as a result of realizing how unattractive my high-waisted jeans were sometime near the end of lower level, although why that would apply to all clothing I'm not sure. I've even come to like some high-waisted trousers - strictly on skinny people, that is, sry - but I've only recently come to terms with wearing high-waisted clothing myself. (I suppose the skirt with braces was like a bridge.)

One thing I'm proud of, though, is never pulling my tutu down to my hips when I did ballet. Most of the other girls did. Lolz on them.

I think I need to get some more practice on being photographed by others :D

PS: My laptop screen is acting up so I take no responsibility on any visual aspects, including spelling.
